Celebrating Connection and Community: ATILIM Netherlands in Austria

On October 5, 2024, a vibrant group of ATILIM Netherlands members embarked on an exciting journey to Schrems, Austria, for the highly anticipated inauguration workshop of ATILIM Austria. This event not only marked a significant milestone in the expansion of the ATILIM family but also fostered invaluable connections and the sharing of knowledge across borders.

The workshop was hosted by the enthusiastic DaiSihing Anıl Direnç Korkmaz, who welcomed participants with warmth and energy, setting the tone for a day filled with learning and camaraderie. A highlight of the event was Sifu Akin, a master of both ATILIM WingTsun and ATILIM Escrima. His engaging demonstrations captivated attendees, showcasing the intricacies and philosophies behind these martial arts.

Participants were not merely observers; they eagerly engaged in hands-on experiences, applying the techniques demonstrated by Sifu Akin. The atmosphere was electric, filled with laughter and encouragement as everyone immersed themselves in the practice, enhancing their skills in WingTsun and Escrima.

As the sun set on Saturday evening, they embraced nature with a tent camping experience, creating memories under the stars. The highlight of the trip was the delicious tea prepared by Sifu Akin, which many participants deemed the greatest treat of their travels.

The excitement didn't end there. On October 6, participants enjoyed a dynamic BootCamp, which provided further opportunities for training and skill refinement. This intensive session not only honed their martial arts abilities but also fostered teamwork and camaraderie, reinforcing the spirit of community that defines ATILIM.

In addition to the workshop activities, ATILIM members also enjoyed a delightful city tour in Prague, taking in the beauty and culture of this historic city.

Stay tuned for more updates from ATILIM, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this event possible!
